John "Jack" 'Cod' Miller was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1920s, '30s and '40s who at representative level played for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Warrington, playing at Prop, or Second-row, i.e. number 8 or 10, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums. Over his 20 year career he made 526 appearances for Warrington, a club record which was not broken until 1959 by Brian Bevan.
Jack Miller, won caps for England while at Warrington in 1928 against Wales, in 1933 against Other Nations, in 1936 against France, and Wales, and won caps for Great Britain while at Warrington in 1933 against Australia (3 matches), and in 1936 against Australia, and New Zealand (2 matches).[1]
